MONTH IN REVIEW 

We're very excited to tell you that the third edition of idrive is on its way to our members as we speak!  Those who are attending our presentation evening tonight will be the first to get their hands on it.

Before we launch into May, here's what April had in store for us.

Our month began with our Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal Car Display,  This year we held it at Sandown raceway where Sandown generously donated their space so that we could put all money raised to the Good Friday appeal.

We were also joined by the Victorian Mercedes-Benz Club.  We'd like to extend a huge thank you to Chris McDermott for sending out so many personal emails and messages to get such a brilliant turnout.

Our final tally of funds raised on the day was $2,500.  Thank you to all those who attended and donated.

On Easter Sunday we then attended the Flinders Heritage Motoring Display Day. We had a great turnout of cars, winning Best Club Display for the second year in a row.

On 10 April we did a Saturday drive leaving from Berwick BMW to Mirboo North. Thank you to Peter Williams for the fantastic drive route as usual. Even though it was damp the driving was fun and the lunch superb. Thank you also to Berwick BMW for the lovely breakfast.

We then had our monthly members's meeting at Eastern Tyres where our members were treated to a special guest speaker from Continental Tyres.  Eastern Tyres offer our members a 20% discount on all Continental Tyres so make sure you show your membership card next time you're in for new tyres!

Our second Mates with 8s drive for the year was on 17 April - we had quite a few 8s attend and quite a few other non-8s.  The drive began in Bundoora and finished with a coffee in Daylesford.

Our last event of the month was our ANZAC day weekend away in Mansfield.  We had 11 cars and many members who got up early on Sunday morning to attend the ANZAC day dawn service where we placed a wreath at the service on behalf of BMWDCM.

Join us for a tour with Alan How and his staff around their award winning premium automotive restoration and crash repair workshop. 

We all enjoyed the virtual tour through COVID in 2020, so let's visit them in person this time and see what amazing work they do.
