The GT Festival at Phillip Island, which is part of the national Shannons SpeedSeries, featured rounds of Monochrome GT4  Australia championship and the GT World Challenge Australia championship (part of the global GT World Challenge with sub-championships in each region).  In a packed programme there were also races for Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli Australasia, First Focus Radical Cup Australia and Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge.

Although BMW have won 3 out of the 5 opening rounds of the global GT World Challenge they did not feature in the Phillip Island round.

In the Monochrome GT4 round the best the 7 BMWs could do in race 1 was 7th improving to 4th for race 2.

However, the was some great racing and a lot of fun.

Our car display was visible on the TV coverage and proudly represented both our club and the brand.
