Earlier this year I was given the role of E36 Registry Captain. I took on this role as I enjoy bringing the car community together with meets and online groups. More specifically, a group with the chassis I know and love the best, the E36. On the 29th of October, we had our 6th Meet and Cruise held down in the Mornington Peninsula. We began by meeting in the morning at the Penlink BP Outbound with a turnout of about 26 cars. Every car there was unique from one another; varying from 318i's to 328i's, different body styles and a range of colours. After lots of chit chat over breakfast, we made our first move, cruising along the freeway then along the beach up to the windy roads of Arthurs Seat.

After some unexpected maintenance and repairs on some of the cars at the top of Arthurs Seat, we then made our way to the Rye boat ramp via the more inland roads of the Mornington Peninsula through Main Ridge and Fingal.

We concluded our cruise at the final meeting spot of the Rye boat ramp car park, capturing some great shots of everyone's E36's, followed by the remainder of the group grabbing some lunch at the local surrounding shops.

Overall, I was very impressed with the turnout on the day. It was nice to catch up with existing members and meet some new faces of the group. I look forward to organising the next one!
