The “cars and coffee” meet that Mark McDermott organised at Murrumbeena Station could have been called “What haven’t you got in your garage”!

The array of different vehicles – not all were cars – was fantastic and made for a very interesting morning.

The turn out was larger than expected (which is good) and the adjoining parking area was also utilised.

With some foot traffic or just curious passers-by pulling in for a look the event proved very popular.

Being a casual event everyone just walked around and looked and chatted, learning about vehicles we have not really seem before. There was a lot of laughter and some downright amazement – you get 20 hp from that 190cc scooter engine?

Altogether a brilliant day – more than a morning as plenty were still there well past the 11:30 end time.

Big thank you to Mark for having the idea, finding a location and organising a discount on coffee from Daniel Son and setting up in the morning.
