Pre-Torquay Motor Show Drive

We will take a one and a half hour drive using a less than direct route to Lorne where we will join the Torquay Motor Show Cruise to Torquay.

This event is open to all, whether you are attending the Torquay Motor Show or not.

Once in Torquay, the organisers promise food vendors and live music  - but this may be every limited and probably burger van style food.

We will meet at the McDonalds/BP on the Geelong ring road which also has Red Rooster and Olivers.  There will be time for eat, drink and "comfort" if you arrive by 1:30 pm for an 2 pm departure.

If dining at the destination site does not appeal join us at the Torquay Hotel for a bistro style dinner, in the bistro section (not the public bar) at 7pm. If you have booked for dinner through the Motor Show event please do not book again here - use the "already booked" option.

If you are planning to stay overnight in the Torquay area book early - February is still part of their high season and places get booked out quickly. The Torquay Hotel has some accommodation but there are many other options, including the 20 minute drive back into Geelong.

DRIVE INSTRUCTIONS WILL BE SENT OUT IN THE REMINDER EMAIL.

WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU HAVE A UHF RADIO WITH YOU ON ALL OUR DRIVES WE WILL BE ON CHANNEL 17.
