We're going to drive to the top of the trees!
A day out, for all the family.

Starting from the services on the Geelong Ring Road we'll drive for about 1 1/2 hours through part of the splendour which is the Otway Forest to the Otway Fly arriving at about 11:45.

We will be there for about 2 hours, allowing plenty of time for lunch in their cafe (including 12 flavours of ice cream) and a tree top walk (payable to the venue on the day $26 per adult, $21.50 per child over 3, concession and family discounts apply, reduced pricing available if you book online here). It takes about 1 hour to fully explore.  

The 600 metre-long, 25 - 30 metre-high elevated walkway provides unrivalled views of the unique beauty of the region’s flora and fauna, from the rainforest floor up into the soaring heights of the treetops. Don’t miss the 47 metre tall Spiral Tower and the cantilever perched above Young’s Creek – a truly exhilarating experience as you gently sway with the rainforest canopy.

There will also be enough time for a zip line experience if you wish (payable to the venue on the day $120 per adult, $85 children 5 -15, family $375 reduced pricing available if you book online here). This also takes about 1 hour which will leave about an hour for lunch and any time on the tree top walk (included in the zip line price) - you can eat lunch as you walk if needs be!

The return drive will include the section of the Great Ocean Road between Laver's Hill and Skenes Creek (less traffic, more fun) before heading inland along the atmospheric forest bound roads back up to the Princes Highway and the Geelong Ring Road. 

We should be back at the services by about 5pm and you make your own way home from there.

Be sure to have your UHF radio with you. If you do not have a UHF Radio,  hand held mic,  or external magnetic antenna you can purchase one from our store using the links provided. If you do have a UHF radio, please use channel 17.
