Are you going to the Canberra Nationals? 

We are hoping for a large group of BMWDCM members to be attending this event.  We'd like to know who and how many are going.

There will be a few different drive options to take up to Canberra which can be self navigate or, if there are a few of you taking the same route, we can put you all in touch with each other and you can travel as a group.  We will not have a committee member as a leader.

OPTION 1 - DRIVE STRAIGHT THROUGH - FRIDAY - no drive instructions, meeting at 
Wallan for those choosing this route.  Meet times in final reminder email. 

OPTION 2 -  WALLAN - CORRYONG - CANBERRA - 2 DAY TRIP - with drive instructions, departing Wallan at about 9am and stopping overnight in Corryong, about 730 kms total

OPTION 3 - SELF DRIVE - 2.5 DAY TRIP - COAST ROAD - with drive instructions, departing Officer,  overnight stay in Bairnsdale, comfortable days driving to Merimbula with an overnight stay,  then off via Batemans Bay to Canberra, about 1128 kms in total.

To make communicating with each other easier, I will set up a Group What App Chat and we can find out information on what is happening or let us know if you are not attending an event.  If you do not have Whats App, it is free to download and use. 

We would also like all our members to arrive in our club merchandise so we all look like a united club.  This is the shirt we recommend everyone purchasing and also a matching cap.  This is a new stock item and these will go quickly. 

DRIVE INSTRUCTIONS WILL BE SENT OUT by EMAIL when you register.

If you are travelling in a group we recommend all in the group have a UHF radio with you so you can communicate with each other along the way. If you do not have a UHF Radio,  hand held mic,  or external magnetic antenna you can purchase one from our store using the links provided.   

BMWDCM is not responsible for any conditions of entry into any event venues, including COVID safety requirements. Please ensure you check any entry requirements with the relevant venue. If you are feeling unwell we request that you do not attend any of our in-person events, regardless of your vaccination status.
