This event is now open to a limited number of men.  This is NOT a sprint event but a driver training day for those who have had very little experience on the track. AGE 16+.

Ever wanted to find out what it's like to get on track in a relaxed atmosphere without being surrounded by the seriousness of competition?

We are hosting the Race Chix Motorsport Come and Try Day as a part of the Shannons International Women's Day Festival.

If you would like to attend and not drive yourself, we are also looking for members and non members to attend as officials.  If you're interested in learning about being an official, please email Jo.

This is also a fantastic opportunity for parents with learner drivers to get them out in a controlled environment and learn some important skills.  We will be offering classroom sessions, track time and breaking exercises.

Both men and woman will be allowed to train as officials on this day.

Please ensure you read the Supplementary Regulations from start to finish, which set out the rules and regulations of the day, including apparel requirements.

The day will cost $100 which is made up of:

$25 Motorsport Australia day Licence fee (not applicable if you already have a licence)

$10 BMW Drivers Club Day Membership Fee (not applicable if you are a member)

$65 entry fee

If this is something you think you may want to do in the future, why not sign up with BMW Drivers Club Melbourne here as a member,  we are not just all about BMWs, we have associate members too, which are non BMW owners.  Check out our driver training calendar here.
