The Geelong Revival Motoring Festival revives the excitement and spectacle of the original Geelong sprints first run in 1956 and modelled on famous Brighton UK Speed Trials. Held on and around the Geelong Waterfront, the course is as picturesque as it is practical. The quarter-mile sprint is held along Ritchie Boulevarde and the track is lined along one side by The Hill. Forming a natural grandstand.

After not running for 8 years, the event was once revived in 2012 with an emphasis on the past history of vintage motor sport, be it car and motorcycle racing; vintage caravans; car cruising; retro and vintage fashion – the Geelong Revival Motoring Festival is a celebration of motoring culture.

BMW Drivers Club Melbourne has secured a prominent display area between two of the most prominent waterfront landmark; the carousel and the pier.  With plenty of foot traffic and cafes across the street this is the best parking area in town for the Revival.

Be sure to come and show off your car - any BMW any age as long as its clean - and watch the sprints and other displays and activities.  Access to the event is subject to an entry fee but access to the display area outside the event perimeter is free.
